His point might be that at least 75% of the laws passed by Congress are in direct violation of at least one of those amendments. It might be that if those founding fathers saw what is going on in this country today they'd roll over in their graves. If they could come back to life one and all would lead the people in a revolt to return our rights to us that are daily being taken away by Congress and the courts.

I would certainly agree with that post--now doan go gettin big headed GB.
I do not believe the founding fathers had any visions of this nation past their own generation. They did leave a blank pallet for us to use to govern ourownselves.
Secession, in my opinion, was not part or partial to the palate.
Didn't say it would not, could not, was not an undoable thing--just was not what they wanted as part of the thought.

Williamlayton,
A ttimes you realy make me worry. As you state it , it can be said any jackass with a whim could come along and change the Constitution as he seen fit as long as the majority of the people backed him up, am I correct in thinking that is what your saying?

According to the rules, yes, we could change the whole constitution.
According to the rules of a coup, yes things could be changed by force.
Now if it doan go your way don't whine and cry for another 150 years, it gets old.
Folks, countries have come and gone--governments have come and gone--Thisun will go away, but not til the Lord God is willing. The way things are around here nowdays I doan know how he stomachs us.
Have always said that, Have always said that I did not believe the framers gave any leaveway, in the constitution they framed, for secession.
