Is there a market for this ?
« on: December 15, 2004, 01:30:25 PM »
Any market for this?
It's been shot a few times but most of the wear comes from handling. It's a 2nd. gen 125th anniversary in 45LC.
I'd like to sell it and get a standard model with the shorter barrel. I haven't listed it anywhere but want to get an idea of value.

For whatever reason, anniversary guns don't seem to be valued more than as a shooter to a lot of people. I'd start with the 2nd gen values in the Blue Book. I sold my 5 1/2" regular edition 2nd gen last year for $1500 but it had a Bob Munden action.

:-D Nope,no market at all. In fact it is absolutely worthless. Your best bet is to pack it up and ship it to me. Being the good sport I am, I will take it off your hands so you no longer have to be embarassed because you own it. :-D  THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A MARKET FOR COLT SAAs
Its hard for me to believe the prices they get on them though, for that kind of money I will stick to FAs.

Best Wishes,
