Got an e-mail tonight from my friend Barry up in PA out shooting his new bow in the snow. Looked like maybe a couple inches and coming down hard. None here in Bama but this week it's gonna be cold enough that if it fell it would stay.

Here in Virginia the snow is like a Southern gentleman.

It knows it should leave when not wanted and disappears the next day.

The weather has turned tough down here, too. Lows in the mid sixties, highs down in the mid seventies. I had to wear a sweatshirt yesterday, early in the AM. It's been windy at the beach, also.

Man I feel for ya Joe. I know how tough those FL winters can be at times. Lived in Haines City back in '58. I actually had to put on a jacket once that winter. Needed a long sleeve shirt several days. Tough winter that year.

Snow I can handle!  Cold is starting to suck with my circulation starting to go south in my hands and feet. Doc said the heart is still in good shape yet so that is good. :) Supposed to be -20 tonight with out the windchill added in.  :x  -30  is not uncommon  and I have seen it -50 and that is in WI not Alaska, though that cold is rare but at least once a year if not more it dips down to -35 to -45 if we get a good artic blast from up north.   Have to stock up on some more Chillblain medicine!  :)  :)  :) Jim

It'll be cold in the hollow tonight but not that cold, should stay above 0.
