Where can i find......

Where can i find barrel blanks? i have a project i think i am going to start but i am not sure where to go for good quailty barrels.

I am not sure of any sources for barrel blanks but you might find what your looking for at green mountain.

They don't seem to have one. I am wanting to make a custom bolt action rifle chambering in the wildcat caliber of 25-308 and i need a 25 caliber barrel. They have one 25 caliber barrel but it is for the 25-20 WCF.

maybe its just me but i can't find one if someone else will look and see if they can find one. Maybe i am  just overlooking it or i am not looking in the right place. I don't know.

Well...ya got me there Varminter...I don't do that kind of thing so am not going to be much help to ya. :(   Maybe someone else from another forum might help ya out....have ya listed this on the other forums? This one is mostly topics related to NEF single shot rifles... :wink: Also....if ya want a Quarter bore rifle ...whats wrong with the 25-06???

You might try Midway they have a lot barrel blanks.
 You need at least 1 in 10 for the 25-08 or 24 souper.

I thought about Midway yesterday but i didn't think they would handle barrel blanks. I'm glad yall mentioned it though. The ones they have listed for 88.99  is the one i'm gonna get but i'm not sure which contour. I want a bull barrel or semi-bull so probably the F99 right? As for the action i have looked at Charles Daly but i would like a m70. do you know where i can find one.


(Sorry i know this is off the topic of handis, but there are alot of great guys here that have been around longer than i have so i figured they could help.)
