If you use first class priority mail, the transfer must be dealer to dealer.  If you want to ship to a dealer yourself you must know his policy or state law.  You as a non-FFL person may NOT mail using USPS, you must use a common carrier such as Brown or FEDEX.   This is where is gets expensive.  You can only do NEXT DAY air only.   If you are an Alaskan, PM me.  I have a friend who is a FFL dealer and he will do it without all the extortion rate prices some charge.  If not, find a dealer who will do the transfer for you.  If he charges over $20, keep looking.  A good source is gunsamerica or gunbroker.  They list transfer dealers for all 50 states.  Good luck.

"ONLY" from FFL to FFL can go through the mail. At times faster because US mail delivers on Saturdays. e-mail me at hhi812@ak.net if you need any more help. Dennis
