Well, folks, I just got me a G19 before the holidays. It was made in '99, so I bought it used, but I don't think it's ever been fired. Obviously since I'm not the original owner I have no warranty coverage. While stripping it and cleaning it recently I noticed the plastic firing pin channel sleeve was cracked. The part only costs about 2 bucks from the various Glock suppliers out there, but just for the heckuvit I called Glock. And they honored the warranty! The guy on the phone said no probs, and sent me a couple of them! I have to admit, that's something not seen too often out there. What amazed me was that when I called I wasn't told to push one, push two, hold, push seven, and leave a message. I got a real, live person who helped me immediately. That's outstanding. :-D
