I have a 94 in 44mag that has been broken through the frame. [ steped on by a horse.]the parts you would need to convert are still good .barrel, bolt, mag, etc. if your still intrested let me know.

The price on a brand new EMF '92 starts at around $320, so why bother converting a '94?  Or, if none of the EMF offerings are to your liking, there are plenty of other short, light '92 rifles and carbines available in all sorts of chamberings, and very reasonable prices.  The time, cost, and trouble of converting, along with the chance that the resulting rifle may not be reliable with shorter rounds that have different rim and head dimensions, well, I'd just pick up a new rifle.

Thanks for all your responses.  YOu persuaded me that it's an ill conceived idea to convert a perfectly good 3030 to  either pistol cal.
