I found a place with a picture of the new fluted 22-250. Looks pretty sweet. I'll have one as soon as they're in stock. I just thought some of you might want a peek at it. If you've already seen it, well then just ignore this post. Later

The stock appears to be the new H&R varmint stock made by Choate Machine & Tool: www.riflestock.com

It sure looks ugly, but given the description on the Choate website it may be functional.

I could live with the forend with the flat bottom and 'T' rail cut in it for mounting bi-pods, etc. , but that butt stock has to be one of the ugliest I have ever seen.

YUK, how about a nice cammo laminated stock with a fluted barrel that would be sharp

I don't think I would be willing to pay extra for that stock. It is indeed ugly. They should have taken a poll or gotten some feedback on it before going out on a limb. I bet it will only last a year.
