Anybody own a .17 Encore barrel yet? If so, do you have to buy a differnt firing pin for the rimfire setup? I have shot a buddies .17 and it 's sweet and would like something for small game that my girlfriend could enjoy shooting also.
Thanks

i don't own one but i would think that you use the same for all of them including the 17hmr. i have never heard of anyone saying they needed a different set up and firing pin for the round

Rob, center and rim are a bit different. Just my thought I could be wrong. A rim fire from an encore would require a different setup. Again I could be wrong. :music:

Its a really easy conversion between the centerfire and rimfire in the encore, the adapter peice costs about 50 bucks.
