Howdy.  I just ordered 2 combo guns: IZH 94 in 6.5SE/12 and 22WMR/20. I think the ones I ordered were an older model; not sure whether they came with choke tubes, and will not find out for three more months when they arrive.  I do have a question about steel shot, for anyone that can answer.

How will these combos handle steel shot?  If they will handle them poorly, which would be the better way to go: install choke tubes, or reem out the choke to modified?  Thanks for your consideration.

I'd be carefull with steel shot.  If the bbl. wasn't designed for steel shot, it will bulge the bbl. over time!

The American guns that are "ok" to shoot steel through have thick walls, and are made to shoot steel through them.  It's NOT just the chokes that you have to think about.

Hey Dave, its a year later.  Have you had a chance to form an opinion about those guns.  I keep thinking one would be handy to have in the boat - and not too expensive to put in the boat.

Any body else have one and opinions on them?
