Well I bought one from MID-SOUTH,118.00,plus the ride. I was suprised the fit and finish is really good. I have the Crockett rifle, so I thought this pistol would be a good match. Over the hollidays made the loading rod(comes with one,I do not trust it),took the pistol a part (could not resist) cleaned everything. Re-assembled, put TY-GON tubing on the nipple(so I could dry fire) possibly the worst trigger on this planet! Being a part time CAS shooter you learn to fix your guns or have a lot money, I am in the bracket called more time than money. Pull the lock and trigger, the tirgger is cast brass then groung to fit. well when JUAN made this trigger we got a little carried away with the grinder(to short) no mechanical advantage on the trigger.Built that trigger back up(no problem),back to dry firing a little better, but still not smooth enough. Now for the lock,there is a adjustment scew,that adjusts for (half cock) and full cock. well this was backed out so far,you could hardly trip the lock with you thumb. well I can now say,this little pistol has one the nicest triggers. As for the select Hardwood? be very careful it dents very easily. I have about 2hrs total time in this pistol so I am pleased. I think for the money this may be a nice little shooter. My only concern is that it has a 1-48 twist. may be a little slow for a 32? when the weather gets a little better I let you know how it shoots. Would some one care to comment on the rate of twist for this pistol? Respectfully Montanadan(who now wishes he had gone to typing classes)
