Was at the gun shop this morning and they had a colt goldcup series 80. Said he would let it go for 600.00 plus tax. Condition was 95% on the conservative side.Is that a good price.

I would have to say it's an OK price. I purchased a new one in stainless steel two years ago for a little over $700.00. Now we can all joke about cost of living in SD. but I think you should negotiate some more.

You live in CT. I moved from there, support your neighbors and buy a colt.

I'd give $150.00 for it - and not a penny more.

Hey!  I need it for the cool lamp stand I'm making to sell on eBay. I plan on using the safety plunger in the slide as the on/off switch.  Pretty ingenious huh?
