I haven't cast bullets for very long.My question is What tpye of bullet lube would be reckomended for ruifle bullet in 7mm an 30 caliber? :shock:

try billy marr hes the moderator of this forum he sells a excellent lube that would work great a rifle velocities. I also like felix lube lbt blue and javalina

the javalina is good but red rooster or lbt is the best for high volicity. do not use plain wax as it will give you promblems! cronograph the same bullet with different lubes you will see a difference i guarantee it!! the bullet man

Cast bullets and Encore with casull barrel

OK I am not a big cast bullet fan, But will cast bullets work for top end loads without leading the barrel too bad?
A 300 gr. bullet is sailing along at about 1900+ in the Encore barrel

I shoot cast bullets in the .35 rem .444 and .4570 at 2000fps cast with 5050 wheelweight and lynotype lubed with a mixture of felix lube and billy mars lube and get no leading.
