Questions about two different pistols
« on: December 26, 2004, 03:03:44 PM »
Cheers,

As part of a small gun collection that I bought a couple of years ago I got a Brazilian INA .32 S&W Long wheelgun.  I've never shot it and in fact - know nothing about this caliber.  Is it centerfire or rim fire? Where do you get ammo for this thing, and can it be reloaded.

Second pistol:  From my "Nother Mother", who "adopted" me in Montana, I inherited a Colt Frontier Scout in .22 LR that is a Centennial model for the Arizona Territories.  It's been shot, so the value is sentimental only.

One of it's white "plastic" simulated ivory grips is broken.  I would like to find a replacement set and also a wood set of grips for this weapon.

Thanks - and by the way - this is a nice forum, compared to some I've been on.

Gentle winds,
cr

32 S&W Longs should be available just about anywhere. They are centerfire. Its a nice shooting cartridge, low recoil and accurate.

You might try Ajax for the grips. I would also check w/ Colt. Who knows they might have originals.
