I don't think so. The dead line was sometime in October I think.
Ohhhh, I hate when that happens

I'm all for it...but I would like to see it happen before it gets hot outside...say...have all the cards in to whoever is going to grade them by Memorial day....

I'm game if everyone wants to shoot it again.

I don't want to hog the grading job, but I'll do it if nobody else wants it :)

Same rules as before?

Big K You just have to know how to measure groups is all. Shooter with smallest group wins bragging rights.

What are the categories again?  Rimfire, Centerfire (Rifle cal. & pistol cal.), slug gun & muzzle loader? 3 shots @ 50 yards for rimfire, slugs & muzzleloaders and 3 shots @ 100 yards for centerfire rifles?  Think that's what we have done in the past.

Oops... I forgot about the 'sticky' on the postal match rules at the top of the forum.  Check it out for the correct rules.

Mitch seeing as this is an informal shoot with no entree fees or prizes involved I don't think anyone would make a fuss if you measuring groups with a draftsmans ruler if you volunteering.

How's Memorial Day (May 30th) sound to everyone?  Is that too far off?

I've always used a dial caliper to grade them in the past.  Just measure outside to outside of the bullet hole.  If you lay them out on a table, you can see a line where the outside diameter of the bullet made a mark on the paper before it tore a hole in it.  This is what you want to measure from.  Take the two furthest holes and measure the distance between them.  Then subtract the bullet diameter from that.  If you're measureing a group shot by a .223 REM, subtract .224" from the distance.

Brett, it's five shot groups for centerfire rifles.  All centerfire rifles are shot at 100 yards except any pistol caliber and the 45-70's.  These are shot at 50 yards.  .

Check the sticky at the top of the page for more info.  Mitchell you're more than welcome to grade the cards this time.

Have fun :D

I missed the last one too...but I'll be ready for this one.  Maybe I'll even have my new 223 Handi shooting some nice groups by then!
