When I was younger I shot a Crosman 6300 .177. Now that I am older and my son is getting into shooting I have dug out my rifle in hopes of joining him (he shoots a Red Rider for now). I looked for details on the rifle all over but almost nothing is avaiable. I have found that the rifle was produced between 1986 and 1988 and was imported from Anschutz. The rifle also has it labeled that it was made in West Germany and is marked as a Crosman 6300.

Does anyone know where I can get information on this rifle from, in particular performance data?

The Crosman 6300 was the Anschutz 333. It should produce about 700fps in .177 cal. 6.8 lbs, 18.5" barrel. If it needs seals or a spring that shouldn't be a problem, parts and repair services are readily available. The 6300 was the mid range gun in the Challenger series. The 6100 was the Diana 45, and the 6500 the Anschutz 335.

ONe of the top spring rifle tuners is Russ Best. I bet he could help you or there are other tuners out there as well. Or Crosman may be able to help.
