TCR....And
« on: February 09, 2005, 05:27:01 AM »
They aren't made any more because of a fire at the factory which destroyed the tooling and machinery for the TCR & the Patriot Pistol. Also because this their spare parts (and barrels) are  rarely seen :( . I had an Aristocrat chambered in .30/06. Very good shooter with the nicest wood I have ever seen outside of a multi-thousand dollar custom gun but because of a spell of money troubles I had to sell it.

Edit: I thought I click the Reply button to the TCR question :)  :)  :) .

You know, it's really a shame about that fire.  The replacement for the TCR, the Encore is not near the firearm as the TCR.  It's not as appealing to the eye either.  I heard about the fire and called Fox Ridge and got their last 06 barrel.  I now have .243, 7MM Mag, 30-06, .35 Whelen, .338 Win Mag, and 12ga with 3 1/2" chamber and removable chokes.  With this one gun I'm set to hunt anything I want to hunt.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
