I have a handi rifle in 223 and was thinking about sending the action in to the factory to get a 3.5 inch turkey barrel put on it. Now I am wondering if it is even possible to shoot a shotgun accurately at turkeys with the monte carlo stock. I know i could order another stock from NEF, but by the time I got the stock and the barrel, and paid for shipping, I might as well just buy a whole new gun....What do you think?

If you intend to mount a scope on it there is no problem if not then it probably won't work well.

It will only work with a scope, or red dot type sight. I tried it, and it was impossible to sight using the bead....

Every trap gun I had was a MC stock,Williams make varying heigth glo sights If I wanted one I would try giving them a call.I also might wait for the Deluxe classic ribbed barrel.

I think the best idea is to buy a new gun. For the cost of sending it back and getting a new stock you might as well.
