Officer's Model, price???
« on: February 17, 2004, 03:02:34 PM »
Local gun shop has a Colt, SS, Officer's model, Series 80. Appears unfired but no box/papers. Any Idea what it's worth? He's asking $650 I think that is way too high.
Perception is everything. For instance, a crowded elevator smells different to a midget.

If it's a 3.5 inch colt it is worth what ever you want to pay since I don't believe they are made anymore. :?

I think the price is fair. I did trade for one and the dealer wanted $450 for it, but there is a lot of finish wear on it.

$150.00 seems more than fair to me?  The other $500.00 they're asking is for the name Colt.
