I have a TIkka WH, in .25-06 Rem, and am in the process of comparing 100 gr XLC,
and TSX Barnes bullets. The XLCs, at this point, do not hold as pretty of groups,
as the TSX bullets. But with some of my test loads, I am getting groups in the 1.25"
to 1.5" range, with the occasional sub MOA group. This is plenty fine for hunting deer
out to 250 yards. If the price was right, I'd buy a box, and get to the range. If they
like your gun, then stock up on them. On a side note, the TSX bullets are giving me
.6" to .75" groups, in the first batch of test loads, that found a sweet spot when
I dialed in the COL. With just a bit more dialing  , I believe I can get this gun to
put these TSX bullets into one ragged .5" hole. This should be good out to 500 yards,
for deer, if one's abilities go that far. As for a 100 gr X bullet being enough for deer,
just get them close to vitals, or the spine, and get the frying pan hot...Venison tenderloins
are for supper!
