Reading about someone making .410 shells from .303 brass, causes me to think about something we did as kids. Back in the 50s we had an old trapdoor 45-70. that an old friend had given us kids to play with. As we got older someone else told us we could shoot .410 shells out of this old gun. So we did. We went through boxes and boxes of 2 1/2" .410 shells. Killed a lot of rabbits and squirrels.
Now for what I've been thinking. Would it be possible with a newer model 45-70? Just some views from other folks?
