Must share my find
« on: January 04, 2005, 09:45:06 AM »
I was at Bass Pro Shop in Cinci last week and saw a Handi Rifle in 223 with a stainless steel barrel and the nickel plated receiver and the synthetic stock on the rack.  Nice gun.  It had a $279 tag on it which I though more or less competive and decided to buy it.  Well it came up $229 at the register and the guy said $229 it is.  That is 10 bucks under the Walmart price.  Now waiting on SWFA to deliver a Bushnell 4-12 and Burris rings and I will be in business.

Awesome Dgrig.I looked at a stainless .223 at bass pro several months ago also,You should have seen the puddle of drool in the floor. :) I wish I could have bought it,but I have a little boy on the way so money has to be spent on other things. If those rifles would have been out a couple of years ago when i bought my UV .223 ,I would bought a stainless .223 instead.
