This may have been asked tried or whatever, my question is
has any one necked this round up to lets say 375 or 400 or down to
338? just curios is all and I made a post sometime back about the 300wsm
and it's not much different than the case deminsion of the 500 s&w.

I think it'd be kind of pointless, really. It's got enough setback and headspace problems at 35 cal without being opened up any more. I believe you'd be better off using the .308 based cases with their slightly bigger case head diameter for that. As for necking down, sure, why not? You just wouldn't gain anything you couldn't get with something that's already out there.

ahh this is true this is how the young and old learn by asking these
types of questions, especially me because i see so many different
wildcats coming out and the ones that have been around for quite
awhile too.
