A Couple Questions On My SKS
« on: January 06, 2005, 06:04:29 PM »
1. What is a strong, good looking, inexspensive, synthetic stock for my Yugo? Preferably folding. Any in camo?

2.How do I get my grenade launcher and grenade launcher sight off without harming my gun?

3. How do I get my SKS to accept ak mags?

Thanks a lot guys.

well i'm not sure if you can make a 59/66 accept AK mags. i know the SKS-D was designed to use AK mags. it was actually a California company that started making conversion kits, Norinco took a look at them and bought the patents and started making the SKS-D. i don't know if they are made anywhere else but China, so if you wanted a new one you would be SOL. i've never heard of a conversion kit available at the moment, but that doesn't mean one doen't exist. as for removing the the grenade launcher, why? get some blanks and a few DEWAT grenades and have some fun. i've even seen guys that made a potato gun the fit over the launcher, but i don't know if thats totally legal.
