8x57 loads using Nosler Ballistic Tips?
«

I picked myself up a sporterised ex-mil 98k in 8x57 around Christmas time and I've ordered brass, dies and some 180gn Nosler Ballistic Tips to load up for it.
Has anyone got any loads they found really effective using this bullet?

My sporterized K98 shoots groups right at or slightly under 1" using 43 grains of IMR 4064 with CCI 200 primers. I get a chrongraphed muzzle velocity of 2272 fps. I also get the same groups using 200 grain Speer Spitzers with 44 grains of Varget. This load gives me a muzzle velocity of 2265 fps.
