I just left the handi rifle sight and if I read the specs right the new handi rifle will be chambered in S&W 500? maybe worth looking for ya think?

Yup;

Called them on the 5th of this month, 500 S&W, and 7.62X39 are new.
My reciver is on the way for a 7.62X39.
Don't forget they are offering the 357 barrel again.

Did H&R say that the 7.62x39 was availible now for the barrel program & did you happen to get an answer aon the bore either .308 or .311.
I'm in the process of loading one of mine up to go in for a 22 hornet & 357 if the 7.62x39 is availible I may have to rethink the posibilities. :?

I talked to Mary, and asked her about the new offerings. Apparently she must be new. She had no idea about the 7.62X39 and the 500 S&W. And she was in CS. Se had to put me on hold then came back and said they were going to be available, that production was going to be this month.
Now she did tell me the 357 barrel was available again w/o me asking.
As far as bore Dia. 308 or 311, I did not find out. But I figured I'd go ahead and get one anyway. Hope it is .311. I'll give it a try. I've got quite a bit of once fired brass left from my Ruger Mod. 77 MKII in that caliber. I guess we'll wait and see.
