Hog hunting

hello everyone.
i am going hog hunting in a few weeks
and i was wondering i just bought me  a
marin 45-70gg.
what ammo would you advise to purchase
for this hunt
i do not re-load
hollow point or a hunka a lead

If i did not reload or use hollow points OMC 350 grain +P are a great choice  they hit hard

I would just use the 300 gr. HP from Remington.  It will do the job well.  :D

45-70 for hogs

The Garrett 420 or the corbon 350.  If you are going to shoot the rifle much you really should start to reload.  a press, set of dies, scale, priming tool, powder measure and a loading block is really all you need.  Start out with the Lee stuff if you want to minimize your investment.  It is a very versitle round and a lot of fun to shoot.
