The 32-20 Is Back!
« on: December 28, 2004, 08:45:40 PM »
Checked out the 2005 Marlin catalogue today.  They re-introduced the 94 in 32-20. :D
I had one a few years ago.  It was a great shooter.  In one of my "brain-dead" moments I traded it off.  The next day I was sorry...what could I have been thinking?  Now I have a chance to recover my loss.  I hope the replacement shoots as well as the first one.
Later,
TnNuc

jedd,
I didn't bring a copy of the catalogue home with me, so I can't give you exact specs right now.  The picture showed a straight gripped stock with checkering on the grip and forearm.  They used the same diamond pattern as the other Marlins.  It had a short magazine tube with an endcap on the forend rather than a barrel band that the carbines use.
The dealer checked with a couple of distributors that said that they have not been released yet.  I suspect that the barrel is 22".  I do remember that it was a microgroove barrel.  I'll know more tomorrow when I get me a copy of their new catalogue.
Last time I checked Marlin had not updated their website...still showing "whats new for 2004". :(
Best,
