I bought a few boxes of PMC cowboy action 170 gr lead flat point(velocity is 1300 fps in my savage 340 and 1400 fps in savage 24 with a longer bbbl) and I am amazed by their good accuracy and they penetrate even better than a ful power soft point loads. I wonder if someone has used them for hunting and what is your opinion about these ammos as a hunting load?
