Wes is out of pocket for a couple of weeks. He had to have surgery and said he'd not be with us for about two weeks. As I understand the current plan from Nixter there will likely be one in OK and another in one of the other states for those closer to them or who just want to go there.

I'm pretty sure the OK hunt is a firm go. Just need to wait until Wes is back so the dates can be firmed up.

Yep as far as I know, the 5-day non-resident hunting permit will be all that is required, $42.50. No special permits or access fees. I've even checked in the past about this same type hunt with the wardens of a couple counties out that way and they said the same thing, just need a valid hunting license for OK.

I retired at age 50. Do that count as being over retirement age?  :-D

Here in Bama free licenses come at age 64. The last one you buy before your 65th birthday is about $1 or some such and no more is required after that. I'm getting there. Will be 60 come March.

I don't know for sure I think it is 65 for free Hunting ,
 Don't know about out staters, I have doing all my hunting on
' my own land, this part of Ok game wardens will not bother you.
 My understanding DonaldO the hunt will be near Guymon Ok. Middle county of Ok Pan handle. if I go have get permit they may look on me as they do here    Marv.
