I think with pressure from the European Union to do business with China it puts the US in an inbetween position wether to keep the sanctions on China or be left out in trading with them. Which brings me to my point we just lifted some sanctions on China when it ran out on importing some sporting firearms.  I hope the Norinco 1911a1 in under this sporting arms catagory I guess we'll have to wait and see.  If you see any new chinese made firearms for sale in your local gun shop feel free to post what you are seeing.

I have been looking for the chinese guns already and the new saiga's too.

I too would like to see the the ban on China be lifted for the Norico 1911A1's.  

I have a Nork 1911A1 that I bought 12 years ago.  Been a great shooter..  They use the same grade of steel and the more expensive Colt, Kimbers, Springfields use in their receivers-which makes the Norinco an affordable buildup gun.

They've came out with some other models of the 1911 to that I would buy in a heartbeat if they were available.  A hi-cap version is especially what I grab up.

I like to see some new norinco's hit the market too.  The norinco NZ 9mm's look good too its a copy of the CZ.
