just aquired one of these little guns, ex-Spanish police. I was looking for info on the model number, production dates and anything else of interest. TIA.

Look on the bottom of the pistol grip, towards the back from the magazine well. In 380, it might be a DK or BM (I think these were in 9mm).

I like mine even with the hammer bites.

Was talking to a guy at the range with one of these in 9mm..are they any good??

I have two of these old Spanish Stars, a model BM (blued) and a Super (Starvelle). Both shoot and function very well. Only the Super has a tendency to "bite" me. Both are heavy (all steel) compared to my newer 9's, but for the price both are very good shooters.
