Any shooters of this out there? Seems that there is very little mention of it, but I'm getting a hankering for one. If you got one, how's it shootin'? Do you like it? Would you reccomend someone getting one of these to plink and play with?

i've had one for  a while but i'm only just now getting into load development i'm using r-p cases 35 v-max's H110 i've got it right about max right now and it just under an inch for 5 shots @100 but i seems that the faster i send it the better groups i'm getting so i think ,when i get a new scope (i dropped it and broke the bushnell i had on it)i'm going to try to go all the way up to max and see what its giving me and i got a good feeling about it.
curiosity killed the cat , but i was lead suspect for a while

Tommyyol was with me last summer when I shot  a 1/4 in group at a hundred. Will admit I have done it again but I have been in the middle of other things and have had the hornet out much. It is what I would call a fun gun. Using V-max it will sure make a crows feathers fly. :D

I've two Hornets that are both great rifles; the NEF and the Savage 24V.  The NEF is my main squirrel rifle with the reduced load I'd mentioned before(4.0 grs of Unique) and works even better now that I switched to using the 46 gr Speer FlatPoints designed for the 218 Bee in the Marlin Classic series.  Look like tiny 30-30's and do a good job on small game out to 100 yds.   Don't hunt varmits, so the 24V is set up to as my turkey rifle, using the same bullet with IMR 4198.  Nice and accurate also.  Seems I've always had a Hornet of some sort laying around, and to me, they are one of the most useful small calibers around  for hunting edible game.
