I went to my local Gander Mountain today and on their used rack they had a wood stock 30-30 Handi. This rifle didn't even look like it was shot. My wife said ok to it. Cool because I am a broke college kid again with a baby on the way. Finally I got a Handi I'll keep around. I had a 7mm Mauser and a 223 but sold both of them. I also had a synthetic stocked 30-30 that a friend of mine uses now. With three bucks under his belt with it, I don't think I'll get that one back. So I got my own. Now if she will let me get a 243, 7mm-08, 45-70 barrel and a 28 gauge barrel.

If you remember to surprise her the same way, she'll be more than willing in the future.  Remember to not make it a onesided affair.
