That price on ebay is a ripoff, you can get them from Ebco & T/C for a buck apiece.
I have gotten Encore forend screws from Gunstocks Inc. for 75 cents each.

I bought a box of 50 Allen Screws and cut them down as needed and they cost my $8. That is 16 cents a piece. Ebay sellers are a rip off when it comes to that stuff!!!!

I ordered them through where I used to be employed but any hardware supplier could get them. Try Grainger Supply...I think I spelled that right.

I recently got into Encore game by buying a barrel and wood from one party and action from another (ss).

I learned the bolt in the action w2as too short for the walnut butt stock...In short, I learned that T/C makes a shorter bolt for synthetic stocks and longer one for wood, as they seem to think the walnut needs more wood to hold up. true or not, it is confusing.

I ordered one from T/C - free, but sent downtown and picked up longer hex head 1/4 x 20 in ss, with washers etc forabout $1.50...

I am not sure they might have 8-40 screws, but will check. If they do, I will post and anyone can have for cost plus postage...
