To Sock or Not
« on: February 19, 2005, 02:04:16 AM »
Good Morning,      I am not sure if this has been addressed before, but I could not find it on search.    I have just bought a gun safe, and when i put my guns in, some rest or touch others during the moving in and out.  I am trying to avoid the small handling and moving dings.   Can a sock be used in a safe, or will it retain moisture?     Thank you in advance for the help.       Curly

i use the socks in the safe and during the season.  I've never noticed them having any affect on the finish at all... i hardly ever use my cases anymore

Thanks for the replys,       Now I need to go sock shopping.   Just another reason to go to the gun store, much to my wifes dismay.      Thanks again,  Curly
