went to Indy 1500 show today.

at the Popguns booth, http://www.popguns.com/, they had 3 ultra slugs they were closing out since deer season was over.

they had two 20ga ultras at $139.

also had one 12ga ultra deluxe(laminate) for $189.

I don't hunt, but almost bought one of the 20s just because of the price.

If I hadn't got a good deal on that B&C stock for my savage rifle, I probably would have gotten one of the 20s :wink:

I went to Dicks sporting goods the other day and seen a 12 gauge ultra with a variable simmons scope on it for 150.00 I almost bought it but didn't need it. So I went directly over my brothers house from the store to tell him about it. We went straight back and he bought it. We will take it to the range soon and see what she'll do.

Nip: When were you there, I was there 2:30 PM Fri. till about 6:00 or 6:30.
I picked up some parts at Butches, parts seller from Iowa, NW corner of first room. I missed the Ultras, but did see a Tracker 20 ga. on the east side of the room for $189 :eek: . Next time look for a fellar with a Lowes hat and a surplus green combat/fanny pack on a utility strap, carrying some kinda orphan rifle/shotgun/handgun, selling or just traded for or purchased. Put'em In The Black:

darn it ol' buddy, we probably walked right by each other!

was there from 3-5.

got a good deal on a Duramaxx stock for one of my Savages. picked up some cleaning supplies, as well as a used barrel for a buddys mossy 500.

next time I'll be on the lookout! :wink:
