Survivor .308
« on: January 19, 2005, 03:33:09 PM »
 I just ordered myself a .308 survivor.  Can't wait to get it.  It will be here in a week or so.  I believe I will put my night vision on it hope it works well on this gun.  Hope it shoots 1/2 as good as my Ultra.  Any tips to help this sucker out.

My name is RODENT RIDDER and I am a handiaholic!

RodentRidder,

I purchased a .308HB Survivor a little while back and have been working with it some, but don't have it satisfactory, yet.

I have not been able to make mine shoot well with the Survivor fore-end and I am just before ordering an Ultra Rifle 22MagHB, in order to have a replacement laminated stock and fore-end.

One thing that I will convey is that I think this rifle prefers flat-based bullets and not boat-tails. I'll report any progress that I find.
