Finally got out to the gun club with the new 204 Ruger barrel on my Ultra. Cartridges are hard to find and finally settled on Remington 32 gr as they were the only 2 boxes around. Absolutely NO cases could be found even on-line. After several rounds getting it sighted in , I was shooting 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds and then  3/4 inch groups at 200yds. The folks at NEF turned the gun around in less than 3 weeks including a free trigger adjust. As the owner of over 50 guns I must say the Ultra is one of my favorites and the results of the .204 are outstanding. :D

boonebob,  :D  Welcome to GBO forum, Sounds like you came a
winner with barrell. I think ammo for 204 is going to be hard to find
for a while, although Midway 222 Mag brass, all have to do is run
it in resizer die, and ready to go. Good lucky Marv.

There's a guy selling once fired 204 ruger brass on ebay, he'll sell it in lots if you contact him and make him an offer, or you can bid on lots of 100....personally, I've not had any problem getting ammo locally, the hornady and remington 32gr and 40gr are on shelves and there are numerous places online to get it. Cabelas has the Win White box 34gr JHP 204 Ruger @ $26 for 40 rnds.
