White Box JHP 45's for Hunting?

I know many people have found the Winchester White Box 45 gr. JHP's to shoot very well in their Handi's.  Has anyone actually used this load for hunting?  I was curious as to how this bullet would do on critters.  I know it would be fine on chucks, p-dogs, and foxes.  But I would like to know if anyone has used them on slightly larger game such as coyotes or turkey (rifles are legal for fall turkey hunting in PA).

I just bought some of them to try in the new Ultra. Tomorrow the weather should be such that I can get to the range and try them out. I don't know how the would work on Coyotes. Someone here will know though.

I certainly wouldn't want to body shoot a turkey with the JHP, but for accuracy in a handi, a head shot would be ok IF you can get a turkey to stand still long enough. Most of the turkey rifle shootin I've read of recommended FMJ and shoot for the base of the neck...For yotes, I don't think it would be too fur friendly up close, but should be ok for longer shots.

I shot a milk jug of water at about 250y with them today and it exploded very nicely. The bullet completly disintigrated and no large parts of bullet were found, only small fragments and shrapnel. This showed me that it seems to be a very violent expanding bullet with bad penetration. Should be good up to coyote.

Also, a buddy of mine shot a groundhog with this bullet at approximately 200y. It was hit in the neck and he told me the exit hole was only quarter sized...I think this is due to there not being enough room for the bullet to expand though.

Yea getting a turkey to stand still for a head shot is a BIG IF.  I would definitely be shooting for the base of the neck.  I wasn't aware this bullet expanded that rapidly.  I thought it may have been one of the HP's that act more like a soft point.  Now i'm intruiged to see what they do to some chucks.

I shot a couple coyotes with them, bang flop, no exit.  It will mess a fox up pretty good though.
