Now that is sad. Truly a great loss to all of America. He was the one voice of reason who tried to keep the NRA on a proper path. In his absence likely no one will. LaPierre will really run wild now. But then he has any way as most have chosen to ignore Neal and just like LaPierre do anything he wishes to. As far as I'm concerned he has totally ruined the NRA and made it into an organization that does far more harm than good to the rights of US Citizens. I place him at the same level as the Klinton's.

Now with Neal gone there will be no one left to tell us of the misdeeds. He was the last real insider who cared enough to share it with us. Rest in Peace Neal and know that some of us cared.

Very Sad. Neal was almost exactly the same age as I am.  He was born about 22 miles north of where I have lived the past 50 some years, but I am sad to say I never met him.  A great loss to the country.

Neal's sons are supposedly taking over where Neal, unfortunately, left off.

I understand that his organization is going to be as strong as ever...

Neal was without a doubt the strongest NRA official in the history of the organization!  NO COMPROMISE!  GUN RIGHTS FIRST!

Hopefully Chris and Jeff will have the strength and ability to continue...

That is great news Steve. I was concerned that with his death the legacy would be lost.
