I used one of my range passes today (I got it because I volunteered to be the photographer at their Sharp Shooters Challenge a week ago) I shot my .223 barrel of my .223/20 Matched Pair at the 100 Yard range. It had its usual 3 X 9 Buschell Scope on it and I warmed the barrel with some extremely inaccurate Wolf 60 grn ammo that I bought in hopes of.... well lets not get into that. I then shot my 'pet' factory load of .45 grn. Winchester White Box and was rewarded with a 5 shot group of 1/2"! 1 inch above POA. The real shock was some 55 grn. FMJ UMC (Remington). I was expecting it to shoot higher (at least 3"). I was pleasantly surprised when it to shot to the same POA but a little wider (I'd hate to live off the difference). The RO was impressed and said I sould have been shooting in the match instead of shooting pics. I think today all the stars lined up or something  .
