Does anybody make a crossdraw holster for the Single Six?
« on: December 28, 2004, 06:05:15 PM »
I like how my BH rides on my hip when walking and riding in the PU or ATV. It is out of the way when packing a long gun. Now that I have this 32 mag it will go with me more than the 41. Big difference in the weight between the two.
My current cross draw swallows the SSM and my strong side just doesn't cut it on the left side. Has anybody seen a rig for the SSM?

Try here, http://www.timelyaccessories.com/Index.html . Never done business with them but I really like what I've seen on the website. I've been considering one of their rigs for my Single-Six.

Hope this helps.

Edited to add, don't forget to click the Photosite button, lots more rigs there.

Check with El Paso Saddelery or Mernicle Custom Holsters. They both make excellant holsters at a reasonable price.

8) Dick Murray Custom Leather makes the Hunter.  It is a hybrid thumb break/flap design holster available in either crossdraw or strong side.  Lining is standard.  Stamping optional.  Highest quality workmanship at a reasonable price.  Available for virtually any revolver.  Check out their web site.

I have used one for a 3" N frame Smith for over ten years, and just ordered one for my 4 5/8" Blackhawk.  If you hunt in rugged country (i.e. Bears with Hounds), you will appreciate the modified flap design.  Protects the gun and keeps it clean.  Regards.

Tom Threepersons crossdraw from San Pedro Saddlery. He can make them to fit anything. Quality is top notch.

:cb2: The Crossdraw Holster by Hunter comes in two sizes. The smaller fits the Single Six.
