Are the Huntsman,Sidekick and TDC the same reciever?
« on: February 25, 2005, 02:20:27 PM »
I bought a new Sidekick and wish to buy a 12ga. TDC and was wondering if the Sidekick frame would except the TDC barrel for turkey while keeping the stock at home in the close?

No, the "Sidekick" reciever will not accept any other barrels other than another "Sidekick" ML barrel. Nothing else can be fitted or attached to it. It was made that way so it is a ML only....<><....

I would really someone that has a sidekick and another regular frame to check and jump in here with the definitive answer but here goes. The answer is no, the Sidekick has a shorter length frame and barrel lug and because of that they will not interchange either way, IMHO....<><....

Sorry lizzzard, I did not mean to rain on your parade. Keep trying, thats the only way we get new configurations and combinations of these little fun guns. I spent a and hour or 2 swapping barrels and stocks the other day after fitting a 20 gauge barrel to a reciever and have come up with some great combinatuins of barels, barrels and stocks I had never dreamt of!!!....<><....
