tang sights
« on: January 28, 2005, 10:52:50 AM »
Is anybody using tang sights on their handi rifle, Buffalo Classic, or Target model?  I think they would be a good fit just a little expensive of NEF.

Has anyone tried a buckhorn with an elevator staff?

Thanks let me know TC

i have tried both on my bc
i like the smith buckhorn with ladder
the tang sight  shot a little tighter groups at 500 yards
but the smith sight is faster to access for hunting and changing elevation on the ladder staff is faster
the smith ladder is priced abt the same as the cheapest decent tang sight
if ya gonna be shootin only long range precision then the tang might be the best bet but for decent long range plus short to mid range hunting sight i would opt for the smith
just my two on it
