Muzzleloading Shotgun???
« on: February 21, 2005, 04:29:48 PM »
Why is there not a Huntsman or Sidekick muzzleloading shotgun.  The action is really a shotgun action and seems to me it would make a great black powder turkey gun.  Am I missing something here? :D

Wilded,

There is a whole bunch of us here that would like to know the same thing. We have bugged H&R/NEF for a few years about this, but THEY aint listening. So at this point all we can do is WISH that someone would see the light. Maybe they don't think there would be enough of a market for them, but I sure think there would be.

I have a Knight TK-2000 and a White White Thunder, I would sell them both if I could get a Huntsman 12ga Muzzle Loader. I just love the simplicity, accuracy and value of the H&R/NEF guns.

OK, since you re-opened that wound, I am going to start a thread about what would be your dream 12ga muzzle loader. Maybe we could e-mail it to H&R/NEF after everyone has given their input?

I just want a 28 or 30 or 32 inch 12 gauge black powder I could hunt turkey and varmints with.  A vent rib would look nice.  A stock like the buffalo classic would be ok too.  Oh, it needs to have a case hardend color receiver.  ET  :D

And a steel trigger guard.
