Blue stocked marlin

I remember a few years back marlin used to offer a blue stocked, bolt action entry level target rifle. I think the name referred to some type of olympic event. Would anybody know what the correct model name is. Thanks .

i think the rifle you are talking about is a marlin model 2000 which has a grey looking stock, with double peeps, adjustable trigger, etc. i think they quit making them in 99. very good rifles, just hard to find now.

A bit late but I'll add that the 2000 originally came with a grey laminated stock and latter with a blue composite. They were single shot but you could get a biathlon kit that allowed for them to take a 5 shot mag. I have one and it's a shooter!
