What is a BFR? And SBH question....

Haven't been into handgun hunting, but do own a Redhawk for backup, I've been considering the SBH in .44 and potentially scoped, but at a recent gun show one gentle told me that the SBH is crap, not well balanced and not a very good shooter either. Now, he didn't have one to show me when I ask about one and I think if he would of had one on his table it would have been an excellent gun!! Salesmanship!
Any info pros and cons about the SBH, would be greatly appreciated.
Also, not to show my ignorance, but what does BFR stand for???

Since, I'm here and asking, how much could a get for a Stainless, redhawk with the 5.5" barrel, near mint condition?

BFR stands fro Biggest Finest Revolver. Made by Magnum Research.  :D  As far as your Redhawk, I can pick up a used on in good condition  for any wheres fro $400 to $450.

You have to remember that opinions are just like other part of human anatomy, everyone has one? Not saying I disagree or agree with the salesman. Shop around and find the one that fits your needs and wants. Make yourself happy.

My long time, old friend hunting handgun is a .44 SBH, scoped.  Balanced very well with it’s Burris scope.  I have a Colt Anaconda, S&W 29 and my son has a Ruger SRH(scoped).  I tried mounting a scope on both the Colt and the S&W but didn’t like the balance of either when scoped.  I believe the reason the salesman said what he did is because he didn’t have one and was trying to sell you what he did have.  Lawdog

Thx, guys! I have held a SBH, but not the Bisley model, which I here is the most forgiving for recoil and not a scoped model. I really liked the SBH, but the 'salesman' made me a bit nervious about it.
Anybody want to buy a great Redhawk???
