Author Topic: Catalog Numbers for NEF Rifles (Read 450 times)

I am looking to purchase an NEF rifle in .204 Ruger, but I cannot find one around here, as none of the gun shops in my area stock them. I spoke to the gentleman at the local Wal-Mart, and he said that even though they didn't have one in stock, he could get one. However, since the .204 is not listed in his most recent catalog from NEF, he can't order one. He told me if I could find the catalog number, he could order it for me. So I went to the website, and I could find nothing there, and nobody was there when I called. Does anyone know either where I could find this information out, or have the actual numbers on hand? I am looking for either the plain old synthetic stocked heavy-barrelled Handi-Rifle in .204 Ruger, the Ultra-Varmint in .204, or the new Ultra-Varmint with the ugly synthetic stock in the same caliber. The above link will take you to Sports South which is where Wal-Mart gets their H&R's, at least down here. Go to the Internet Gun Catalog on the Quick Links and it will let you look for anything they have. They only had two H&R .204's listed and neither were in stock, but that changes almost daily. Can't help with the Walmart numbers, but BiMart on Falk road here in Vancouver has a .204 Ruger Handi, plain hardwood stock with an ultra scope rail on it, $200 price tag, it may be worth comin down for it....saw it this am, I can call em ask em to hold it for me, they would do that, I just ordered a BC from em this am.

The H&R numbers are SB2-F20 for the Fluted Ultra and SB2-204 for the Handi. The laminated stock Ultra isn't available in 204 ruger according to Sports South or The Gunsource.
