Hmm, $53??? For what, I have done 4 of em now at no cost. No broken parts either. I can see buying a couple pin punches, maybe a fine stone, but what else??? All of mine have come out at 2.3 - 2.4lbs on a digital trigger scale, are smooth, no creep and break like glass.

top,
I did the same thing on my first effort. The sear broke off the hammer when I went to put it back in for a second try. I got mine from Brownels, but waited a bit longer for it, and didn't spend that kinda money on the shipping. I already had all of the other tools I needed, so no cost for me there either. The first one is the hardest, they get easier each time.

top,
Now aren't you proud of yourself, and what fun it is to try something like this and succeed.  You probably needed those other things anyway.  The trigger job just gave you an excuse for getting them.  Congratulations.  :D

Yeahbut, you had all that fun and you still have all the tools so the next one you do will be easier and no cost out of pocket! I guess those of us that already have all the tools just take em for granted....  ;)
